MUSIC MATTERS IS PLEASED TO SUPPORT RECORD STORE DAY 2012

Music Matters has teamed up with The Horrors’ front man, Faris Badwan, to design and produce an exclusive Music Matters badge for Record Store Day 2012.

For the second year in a row, Music Matters is delighted to support and celebrate independent record stores and the unique contribution made by indie outlets in distributing exciting and high quality music on the high street.
The limited edition badges will be a real collector's item for any fan of The Horrors - but we're leaving it up to you to decide who the lucky recipients will be!
Faris told us why he is supporting Record Store Day:

"I've discovered so much music through independent record shops, particularly Rough Trade.  It's not the same experience buying records on the internet. I've always thought Record Store Day was such a great idea, limited 7"s from musicians who share a love of making actual records."

Included in this pack is:
• 10 limited edition Music Matters badges designed by Faris Badwan
It's up to you how you distribute the badges.  You might like to hold a competition in store
or give them to the first 10 customers of the day.
• A bespoke Music Matters/Record Store Day poster
We've created a poster especially for Record Store Day. To download and
print the poster for your store, go to  http://tellus.whymusicmatters.org/rsd-poster. Feel free to post it on Facebook, Twitter and your own website - we will be!
